The Northdale Special Tax District is responsible for the maintenance of the rights-of-way throughout the Northdale community's main roads.  The District maintains the landscape and walls along Northdale Blvd., Newkirk and Dawnview as well as a few other areas.

The Districts collects $100 per residential parcel for every home in Northdale through the county's regular property tax bill every year to fund this maintenance.  The commercial properties in Northdale also pay assessments to the District which help fund the community maintenance.

The District meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Hillsborough County Sheriff Northdale sub-station on Premier Dr. at 7:00 p.m.  (The sub-station is located in the old library building behind Pipo's Restaurant).  All Northdale residents are invited to attend the meetings and will be offered an opportunity to speak to the Board of Trustees on any Northdale topic they wish.
